If you are a Jagiellonian University student, your student ID card (ELS) is also your library card. Other users are issued with a library card on registration. Library card is necessary to access reading rooms and borrow books.

Library card issue and activation is free of charge for the students, faculty and staff of the Jagiellonian University.

All other users are charged as follows, payment only by cash:

Medical Library card is valid in all Medical College branch libraries (Institute of Paediatrics, Institute of Nursing and Midwifery, Dental Institute) where separate regulations are in force.

The card holders are also entitled to use the services of the Jagiellonian Library in accordance with the library regulations.
