Bibliometric Analyses of the Personal Scientific Achievements
Currently, the provisions of 1 January 2009, developed by the Central Commission for Academic Degrees and Academic Titles should apply (only in Polish).
If you wish to have your scientific achievements analysed, you should deliver a signed list of your publications to the Department of Scientific Information. The list should be prepared according to the attached instructions (only in Polish): List of publications (habilitation) List of publications (professor title)
Web of Science Web of Science (launched in 1960 by Eugene Garfield as the Institute for Scientific Information, ISI) is a scientific citation indexing service maintained by Thomson Reuters. Web of Science provides users with access to the world’s leading citation databases. Its authoritative and multidisciplinary (over 250 disciplines) content (sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities) covers more than 12,000 of the highest impact journals worldwide, including Open Access journals and over 150,000 conference proceedings. Web of Sciences databases available in the JU MC Medical Library are going back to 1945. It contains the following citation indices:

Web of Science is accessible through the Web of Knowledge platform.
Scopus Scopus is an updated daily bibliographic database containing abstracts and citations for academic journal articles. It covers nearly 21,000 titles (including 2,600 open access journals) from over 5,000 publishers, of which 20,000 are peer-reviewed journals in the scientific, technical, medical, and social sciences (including arts and humanities). Scopus also includes 390 trade publications, 370 book series, 5.5 million conference papers, and “Articles-in-Press” from more than 3,850 journals and publishers such as Cambridge University Press, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley-Blackwell, Nature Publishing Group and the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). Searches in Scopus incorporate searches of scientific web pages through Scirus, as well as patent databases.
RefWorks RefWorks is an online research management, writing and collaboration tool, designed to help researchers easily gather, manage, store and share all types of information, as well as generate citations and bibliographies according to various journal instructions for authors. RefWorks is a web-basedreference management software package.
