Students must be enrolled in the academic year to be eligible for admission to the Library and will have to display their student ID card. Admissions are granted throughout the academic year starting from October. You should activate your account each year. Only user whose account is activated can borrow books and any other materials.
In order to obtain promotion to the next year of studies student should return all items borrowed from the Library and close his or her library account. Closure can be made in person or by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please, type your name and the ID card number (next to the barcode on the backside of the card).
The Library holdings are accessible in the reading room for all people upon presentation of their ID card.
The staff members and students from the JU MC Faculty of Public Health are entitled to borrow up to 4 items at a time, for a period of a month. Items may be renewed multiple times, either by e-mail (email@example.com) or in person, before they are due to be returned.
Items cannot be renewed if they have been requested by someone else. Books currently on loan can be reserved by e-mail or in person.
If your loans (from any Jagiellonian University Library) become overdue, your library account will be suspended until you return them. You can see a list of the books you have on loan; to do this please enter your library account (“Patron Access”) in the Online Catalogue of the Jagiellonian University Libraries Collections.

The JU MC Library of the Institute of Public Health offers 14 computers with access to the internet, software, Jagiellonian University databases and catalogues.
For readers who bring their own laptops, a free Wi-Fi connection is available. It is required to enter the password (provided by the librarian on duty) to access the Wi-Fi network.
